Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of Arab Basalt Fiber Company, particularly in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Management:
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization’s long-term mission and goals; identify ways to support this mission through talent management.
- Talent Acquisition:
Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline.
- Training & Development:
Identify and monitor the training needs of the organization, design, and facilitate appropriate training and development programs.
- Performance Management:
Implement and manage performance review processes to ensure high levels of performance and employee engagement.
- Employee Relations:
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations where required.
- Compensation & Benefits:
Develop and manage a competitive compensation and benefits program to position the company as a top employer.
- Legal & Compliance:
Ensure all human resource activities are in compliance with local law and regulations. Stay updated with current employment laws and regulations.
- Organizational Development:
Provide insights regarding organizational development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness.
- HR Metrics & Reporting:
Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of HR initiatives through defined metrics and KPIs, regularly reporting to executive leadership.
- Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring they are provided with the tools, resources, and training required to support the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (such as PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of the basalt fiber industry or related sectors is an advantage.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferable.
