Job Description:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for managing various aspects of financial accounting and reporting within the manufacturing sector. Your in-depth knowledge of the industry and experience with SAP Business One will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s growth.
Key Rsponsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Apply your deep understanding of the manufacturing industry to handle specific accounting needs, such as cost allocation, inventory management, and production-related financial analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
SAP Business One Proficiency:
- Utilize your expertise in SAP Business One to manage financial data, streamline processes, and generate relevant reports.
- Train and assist team members in using SAP Business One effectively for accounting tasks.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights based on your industry expertise.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances to support cost control efforts.
Audit and Compliance:
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with audit requirements.
- Implement corrective actions as needed based on audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) working in accounting roles within the manufacturing sector in UAE.
- Expertise in SAP Business One is required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification is a plus.
