Fujairah Ruler Inaugurates Region’s Largest Basalt Fiber Facility
H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, reaffirmed the Emirate’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies to advance sustainable economic and industrial development, aligning with UAE Vision 2030 and the UAE Centennial 2071.
H.H. Sheikh Hamad made these remarks while inaugurating the Arab Basalt Fiber Company, the first and largest integrated facility for producing Basalt Fibers and rebars in the MENA region. It is also the highest-output facility of its kind globally.
His Highness was received by H.E. Eng. Mohammed Alshehhi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Arab Mining Company, H.E Eng. Mohamed Afkham, Director General of Fujairah Municipality, H.E.
