At Arab Basalt Fiber Company, we are honored to have established a world-class manufacturing capability that strengthens the region’s industrial ecosystem and positions us as a global leader in basalt fiber and advanced composite materials.
With an initial investment of US$76 million, our facility represents a significant commitment to industrial innovation and economic diversification in the UAE.
Our operations align with the industrial strategy and economic diversification objectives of the UAE and the wider region. By strengthening regional manufacturing excellence, we are helping address critical infrastructure needs while contributing to long-term industrial capabilities. We are committed to our mission: to deliver sustainable solutions that serve both current requirements and future aspirations.
Through the production of basalt fiber reinforced polymer (BFRP) rebar and advanced composites we provide an environmentally responsible alternative to steel rebars, supporting the Net Zero goals while meeting the growing regional demand for durable, sustainable construction materials.
Our growth strategy extends beyond regional leadership. We are actively expanding our global footprint, particularly in North America and Western Europe, while strengthening our composite materials portfolio.
By 2026, we project an annual fiber production capacity of 5,000 tons, with our fiber rebar production expanding to 6,500 tons by 2030. This expansion, along with our projected revenue growth to US$65 million by 2030, underscores our commitment to becoming a global leader in sustainable industrial materials.

Arab Basalt Fiber is MENA’s first and largest basalt fiber producer.
Located in Fujairah, UAE, we are pioneering the advancement of sustainable industrial materials, with a focus on expanding our presence in North America and Western Europe. Operating from our state-of-the-art 40,173 square meter facility, we are transforming the advanced materials sector through our comprehensive range of basalt fiber and composite solutions. Our products demonstrate exceptional mechanical properties, including superior tensile strength of up to 4800 MPa and heat resistance to 800°C, serving diverse industries from construction and automotive to renewable energy and defence applications.
