The delegation engaged in a comprehensive tour of the exhibition, visiting various company booths, and holding meetings with numerous institutions, ministries, and companies involved in the mining sector. Notable interactions included discussions with Grand Factories Mining Company, WGM (Canadian), ADNOC (British), SRK (British), Gold and Minerals Company Limited, Saudi Gold Refinery Company, ASL, The Global Resources PVT (India), Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, and DWF (British), and other key industry players.

A highlight of the conference was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Arab Mining Company and the Arab Potash Company. This agreement focuses on exploring, developing, and implementing projects related to the fertilizer industry across the Arab region, with particular emphasis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Additionally, Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Shehhi witnessed the signing of sales agreements for copper and zinc concentrates between the Great Factories Mining Company and Glencore.

Concluding the event, Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Shehhi lauded the conference’s role in bolstering and advancing the mining sector and associated industries in the region. He emphasized the importance of the Arab Mining Company – Fujairah and the Arab Basalt Fiber Company’s participation in the next conference session, including the establishment of a dedicated booth to showcase the Arab Basalt Fiber Company’s products, particularly basalt fibers and basalt rebars.
